My Grandfather was William Edward Power. He was born in the 1870’s in Harbour Grace. He died in Cape Breton in 1922. He was married to Maryann Delaney from Bay Roberts On his death certificate his father is listed as a James Power and his mother as Mary ( Brennen??) According to my mother, before she passed, she remembered he had one brother and believed his name was Mike. who might have gone to Ontario? I am interested in learning more about the Powers of Newfoundland, especially James, and the Delaney family from Bay Roberts.
