I am looking for any information on the Patterson family originally from County Tyrone, Ireland. Parents I believe to be John Patterson and Rebecca Ray. I have them with two sons, George Alexander Patterson born 1826 and John Paterson born 1831 in County Tyrone, Ireland. George married a Margaret Unknown on 20th April, 1855 in Douglas Parish. St. John River. York County. New Brunswick. Newfoundland. Canada. John Patterson married an Eliza Cochrane also in Douglas Parish. St. John River. York County. New Brunswick. Newfoundland. Canada. Both brothers and their wives with children then emigrated to Australia during the 1860’s. George had at least two children with him, a son, John and a daughter. John had at least three children with him, George Alexander, William Emmerson and Maggie.
Any help is greatly appreciated. This is for my wife’s cousin.

You need to join Ancestry genealogy site as there are 51 Family Trees listed for this family, I’m sure if you message several of the tree managers, they will be able to help. I believe you can join for a trail period for free. Please note that Douglas Parish, St. John River, York County is in the province of New Brunswick, Canada, it is not part of the province of Newfoundland, Canada. You will need to search New Brunswick genealogy sites and Australian genealogy sites for this family. Hope this helps.
