I did manage to find Mary Ellen Jordan’s parents, John and Mary, with their children in the 1921 Census for Ferryland. Mary Ellen was not listed among their children, so I searched for her and foundChing Lee, age 31, born Dec. 31, 1889 in Canton, China. Emigration year 1914.
Mary Ching Lee, age 22 born March 23, 1898 in Ferryland, Nfld.
Arthur Ching Lee, age 1 born July 2, 1920, in Harbour Grace.Ching Lee’s occupation listed as Laundry Home.
I searched the 1935 Census for Newfoundland as well as the Business Directory of Newfoundland 1936 and could not find any listing for this family.
