I’m trying to find info for my family tree. My Great Grandfather was Richard Walsh married to a Hawco. I’m trying to find his fathers name. My cousins think it may of been David Walsh married to a Hickey. I’m trying to see if our family links to John and Ellen(Lyons) of Cape Boyle whose sons moved to Holyrood on the Salmonier Line , country path area as that’s where my family of Walsh’s settled. If I can make this connection I would know my family originated in Wexford Ireland. If anyone has any info the can e-mail me at kevindwalsh1988@yahoo.ca
I am looking for information on Mary Ann Walsh (1854-1919) married to James Noseworthy and living in St. John’s. They had a daughter Elizabeth Margaret born in 1886 in St. John’s. She was my grandmother. After almost fifty years of searching, these are the only facts I have about the Walsh and Noseworthy families. I will keep an eye out for Richard Walsh. Will you please keep an eye out for Mary Ann Walsh? I want to be a legitimate “Newfie!”
