I have been searching for information on Robert Wells, married to Miriam Crewe in Ramea/Burgeo and who settled in Dawson’s Cove.
I have a lead on his birthplace being on Gooseberry Island, Bonavista Bay.

Anyone have any further information regarding this, ie. parish records, parents? who might be Simon Wells and Mary Francis Gillingham (nothing confirmed as of yet)
