I am looking for the surname of my great grandmother’s. Her name was Annie Elizabeth and she was married to my great grandfather John Tulk who was born 1858 in Hr Buffett. Annie Elizabeth’s death certificate indicates she died in 1901 at age 37 and that she was originally from Trinity. Their children included Samuel who married Ellen Mcgrath, Annie who married George Vatcher and Violet who married Tom Ward. John Tulk later remarried at age 50 to a Mary O Grady,(formerly Brown) age 50 widow both of whom were living on Hunts Lane St. John’s.

I am also looking for the parents of my great grandfather Andrew Yetman who was born 1853 (based upon his age at death) in Hr Grace Newfoundland. Records for the period in the RC church were destroyed. He was married twice. 1st to Ellen Coughlan and then to Mary Snow. My grandfather was born from this second marriage. His name was Joseph and he was baptised in February 1907 at St. Patrick’s; St John’s. I have been searching the remaining RC Hr Grace records and note an earlier marriage of a Henry Tulk and Margaret Norcott in early 183o’s in Hr Grace RC church. I am trying to confirm whether my Andrew born 1853 is a son of Henry and Margaret.
