I am also related to John Charles Pye and Elizabeth Rachel Lacey.
My great grandmother’s sister – Marion Pike, married James Pye, who was John & Elizabeth.

I currently don’t have any info on the Parents of John Charles Pye, but I’m going to see what I can find. I do have Elizabeth Lacy’s parents as John DeLacey and Esther Reynolds.

I’m working on some information right now that indicates that a woman named Ann, who married John Pike in 1774, may have also married a Pye as a 1st or 2nd marriage before or after marrying Pike. It is an unconfirmed report. Our information is that this woman Ann was actually a First Nation woman – possibly Beothuk or Micmac.
